The Student and College Ministries at North Oxford Baptist Church exist to lead students to a relationship with Christ, to nourish that relationship, provide opportunities to serve others, and to encourage and support fellowship with other believers. Regardless if you’re brand new to the area or have been here for fifteen years, one thing obvious is the amount of teenagers and college students to our community.

K.N.O.W.N.

According to recent surveys, over 94% of people believe in God and 89% believe in heaven.  75% of those people think they will get to heaven.  Few people, however, actually know how to get to heaven.  Here's the KNOWN Plan of Salvation: 

K...Know God.  To be sure you are going to heaven, it is essential that you know God in a personal relationship.  Without a relationship, you are completely separated from Him. (Romans 3:23, 6:23)

N...Name Jesus as Your Lord & Saviour.  You must believe that Jesus is who He said He is - God's Son.  As the perfect, sinless Son of God, only Jesus can forgive your sin. (Romans 10:9-10)  

O...Own Up to Your Sin.  Take personal responsibility for your sin and confess it to God.  He will hear your prayer and forgive you.  Forgiveness is a free gift - all you have to do is ask. (Romans 6:23)          

W...Walk a Different Direction.  The Bible calls this turning away from your sinful choices, repentence.  To repent really just means to go in a different direction.  As a Christian, you will want to live differently.     (Luke 13:3, Ephesians 5:8)

N...Never Doubt That God Loves You

You can be certain that God loves you and that He has forgiven your sin.  He wants you to know, beyond any doubt, that you will spend eternity with Him in heaven.
